Golbon is a visual artist and a techno DJ from Tehran. Her debut EP album EKUR along with a single titled Lapse [Doomsday], came out under Low Noise Productions (CA) in July 2020. He second EP “In the Name of Drums” was published by Neu Gravity in February 2021. She also has had two singles under Iranian record label Noise.A.Noise titled Telemaque and Mefraq in 2019 and 2020. Golbon has been practicing as a visual artist before getting involved in the techno and experimental music scene. She is therefore, inevitably most attracted to manipulating the spaces and creating audiovisual installations.
Golbon has a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Ottawa, Canada. During her studies in Canada she showcased her art work and DJ-ed in various venues.
Aside from performing electronic music and audiovisual sets in the past 5 years, she hosted a weekly radio show on Ottawa’s community radio CHUO.FM, Ottawa, Canada, and introduced new electronic music in DJ mixes in 2017 and 2018.
